information can always be more effectively laid out in a website format than any other format
sometimes video is the way to go, sometimes text, sometimes images or audio, sometimes tables, sometimes an interactive element like embedded calculator or map where you can turn layers on / off etc.
the one-size fits-all approach of youtube ( and other video-based platforms ) must appeal to RETARDS like boomers who only know how to watch TV
YouTube is literally just TV with an unlimited number of channels and built in recorder that is already preprogrammed to record your favorite shows for you so you don't have to think ( which boomers aren't very good at )
i can't believe i once fell for YouTube being the future - what an idiot i was ! the logic was " this wasn't possible before due to bandwidth limitations but now it is, so it's the future " uhm ... NO. that's not how it works.
