I'm reminded of a story: Thieves once stole a batch of very advanced communication devices, which were also very expensive at the time. They hid them. They were later caught and sentenced to twenty years in prison. Twenty years later, they were released and dug up the treasure they had buried twenty years earlier, ready to make a fortune. But by then, no one needed the treasure they had buried anymore. That treasure was called a "pager."
