I almost missed this great note.
It goes without saying!
It depends on the poop. On very rare occasions, the clothes come off because I know I'm in one.
This is an important conversation. As the proud user of a squat simulating stool for making stool, I gotta have the pants completely off which means neatly folded and set aside. And then depending, the shirt too.
I usually have underwear around one ankle, at least mornings. Basically naked
