I’ve been comparing MLS to OTRv4 and the latter has some interesting deniability properties, but is not as nice for large groups.

I love how all of these protocols use fancy cryptographic words to get our hopes up and then when you dive deep into them and bring them back to real life they fail to deliver one after another.
Anyway. Both have deep problems in their design but I think they are solvable. The author's just didn't care as much as we do.
