There is also indeed the break in values of our most important partner, the USA, which helped build this order and, above all, significantly shaped it over decades.
We are beyond the stage in which we only complain about the lack of respect for international law or the erosion of the international order. Both disrespect and erosion are far advanced.
Today it is about preventing the world from turning into a den of thieves, in which the most unscrupulous take what they want, regions and whole countries are treated like the property of a few great powers, and even medium-sized states are pushed to the margins of history while smaller and weaker states are left entirely without protection.
