come to the midwest - things are still good here
Yes
Maybe the gen Z bartenders you asking are legally allowed to work but not legally allowed to drink.
Remember the prohibition π

i hope so. its terrible.
bartenders that dont go to bars.. π€
It's wild because I feel like I caught the last train. Not that drinking is great, it's not, but gosh to be 22 and getting ready to go to the clubs with my girlfriends was such a fun night out!
I feel sad for young folks now that they don't have that. But maybe folks my parents age were sad for us that we didn't have the pure cocaine of the 80s π€£
bars are lame. It's mostly just men and at the end of the night, there is many testosterone filled upset men they couldn't pick up so they end up fighting. Gen Z is not the problem. The problem is the government tells businesses owners how to run their bars so you end up with boring lame bars.
If bar owners were allowed to run their own bars without government intervention, it would be much more fun. Go to Asia and the bar scene is much more fun.
You had me until the endβ¦ in China the bars are all stuffed into one part of the city so theyβre easier to control and regulate. π€
Many donβt drink coffee either. π€―
I dont...and Im an gen X
diabolical
Yep, alcohol is poison.
Gen zs are into different things..πππ€£

Alcohol sales are down across the entire Industry. Itβs a multi year trend.
Poor generation that honestly never saw 2.50$ beers i cant blame em

I'm a millenial and I was almost always the designated driver back in the early 2010s because I didn't drink alcohol.
I think it's probably one of the better aspects of inflation.
I don't know who can afford to get drunk at a bar once or twice a week these days.
Yes
Alcohol drinking is danger to your health while sitting in the bar drinking cola is not !
Gen Z canβt afford to go out. They have to pay Chipotle in 5 installments
Millennials aren't going anywhere.ποΈ

Iβve noticed many young people donβt seem to have any more fun. My comment is not related to drinking but it could be part of it. What I mean is young people I meet are all super serious, no jokes, no laughs. Maybe they are depressed about climate? I donβt know β¦ but itβs going to be a serious problem when they grow up. Eventually theyβll be taking over and I have a feeling we wonβt be laughing much then.
Social media (dis)affects these kids.
Itβs depressing to see. Itβs like a bunch of walking psychos π but I feel bad for them. And scared for what theyβll do to me when Iβm super old π¬
My guess is weβve been too controlling with too many rules. Helicopter parenting
They are on the right path. Actually a positive sign.
yeah not even saying its a bad thing. Just an observation
They tell me they're poor and can't afford to go out.
This is also rough on musicians because if nobody drinks nobody pays musicians
This + Drinking sucks
We rather Nicotine or weed tbh

Their favourite bar should be the HODL Bar by @Oshi (ζ¨γ), which comes in both mint cookie and banana chocolate ship flavours.

Rock the bΓ’r
Is it not just that being a bartender makes you not want to get a drink at a bar. They know how the sausage gets made?
