I liked lion taming
Reading. I read so much my parents were almost worried about me in some ways... A rainy day meant more reading. π€£π€£π€£
I read so much too. I really need to get back into it.
Maybe read during the littles' nap time? It's hard for a mother to read with everything going on, I'm sure!
I could probably get a lot of reading done if I did audiobooks cuz I spend so much time contact napping or getting them to be drowsy enough to sleep on their own.
I could never get into audiobooks though.
I like podcasts.
I like some audio books.
When I was welding full time, it was 8-13 hours a day of podcasts on history, philosophy, The Bible, technology, food, homesteading, etc.
That's one thing I miss about working that much.
I'm not sure what else to suggest for a busy momma like you. π
Handcrafting, reading books and comics, listening to βpodcastsβ fairy tale and music, playing table games, or being out in the rain βοΈ
Probably also fighting with my sister ππ
I don't really remember, probably playing barbies or doing puzzles. Jr and I played in the rain a lot when he was little as long as there was no thunder or lightning. He'll still go out and run around in the rain.
I thought about getting taro rain boots but husband was like we live in the desert, are you sure?
1 week of rain later, I'm really reconsidering.
I used to love digging little ditches and rivers to move the flowing water around.
I loved going outside in the rain! Jumping in puddles, feeling the rain on my face. And the feeling of coming back inside to be cozy again, feeling all the little bits (fingers, ears, nose and toes) get warm and feel itchy! Iβm home in Canada for a minute or two and Iβm loving the cold/cozy juxtaposition. Donβt get me wrongβ¦ I love the warmth of NZβ¦ but the nostalgia is real. Nice to be βhomeβ
Definitely living room couch pillow blanket fort. It was always the best. Although usually we got soaked outside first and then came in to build the fort
Of course!!! Thanks for this! Oh we loved doing that tooπ
I remember that on rainy days my sister and I made meringue in a cup with a forkβ¦ we had fun making it, but the best part was eating it π
I've never heard of meringue in a cup. gotta try it now.
