Thank you for the reminder

They deserve it if they confess and repent; if they apologize. Otherwise forgiving those who do not confess and repent is not an act of mercy or grace but one of accepting or tolerating evil. Be a Christian, but don’t carry burdens that weren’t meant for you.

In other words, pray, love, care for, and forgive people like ourselves.
