Today’s torture, going to find a gravestone of a distant relative that my sister in law will continually say “there’s no way that’s them” to which I reply, “unless you’re completely illogical and the fact they nearly share a name is that his son took over from him” 🤦‍♂️ Building myself up for a little #runstr to cleanse some of the raging annoyance from my system.

Locked a loaded for some festivities, after fettling my father with a trip to the barbers (🫡🙌 @Marty Bent , new tradition of my fam) have a little tipple for the big day tomorrow. It will take all my self control not to crack open the 2022 peony lane pinot noir!!!! Kids currently sorting snacks for Santa and Rudolf.

Gm nostriches, beginning of my Christmas “shutdown”, work is closed until the new year, relatives arriving tomorrow, hire car picked up last night (it is such a shitty box on wheels), but before the egg shell walking begins with relatives with a strange lack of self awareness, given where I’ve come in the past 6 years, it could get frosty at times. I’m not a bad guy, and just because I have different views doesn’t change that. Ah well, deep breath, at least my parents will be about to add a little normalit, appreciation and company for some quality wine into the while mix (ma post stroke not giving a shit could get wild). Gm nostriches, treating myself to a little dairy in this fine Thursday morning, #coffeechain and #catstr game strong. Day off with the eldest also off, so packing up the car, bikes on top with a Dug Daughter day, with some #bikestr snacks locked and loaded. There maybe “Christmas prep duties” to be done, but this is pretty much the first chance to have done this for years, so taking it, damn any blowback.
