Just received a phone call from a young salesman at a heavy equipment dealer. He wanted to come out and introduce himself and see if I needed anything. I usually get a couple of these calls every year…I simply explained to him I can’t afford any new equipment right now and that I didn’t want to waste each other’s time. We got talking about the price of equipment and trucks and how much money you need to purchase this stuff now, well, doesn’t he bring up bitcoin? So we talked for a good half hour and he tells me about how he’s worried for his kids futures. I said, well, you could just buy bitcoin and not have to worry anymore about currency debasement. I think I made a friend today and was definitely not expecting that call. I was actually sitting in my trailer in my driveway reading Broken Money in the AC because it’s an oven in our house. I usually let phone calls go to VM now, but I’m glad I picked it up today. 🤙🏼 #bitcoin

Lost power overnight, that’s ok, we’ll keep the fridge going and the coffee fresh☕️ Shitty part is, I have no internet and my bitaxe is down 😆 Neighbours probably won’t like that I started the generator around 5:45am. It’s actually the first time I’ve ever had to use it in about 10yrs.

My entire family has been in real estate, I had the chance to get into the real estate game about 20-25yrs ago and I’m glad I never did. I’ve watched my family deal with shitty tenants, get sued by tenants and have their lives consumed by these buildings. Not to mention the capital gains tax on secondary properties.
