This will piss people off… RE ADHD/ADD As someone who does not have these conditions, I have trouble understanding how those with it cannot focus on something as simple as a conversation. I understand there is a lot of info about why this is the case, however, I have never heard conflicting evidence of people with the condition that can ‘break out’ of their zones by actively focusing, even in a conversation. For example, I am very plugged in during conversations, even when I don’t want to be due to common courtesy. I have a hunch that the ADHD crowd has a very convenient excuse and years of conditioning that it’s ok they aren’t plugged in, in addition to the effects from the condition.
