It’s time to dive into the solar & distribution system for the 80 Series camper setup… thanks to USB-C fast charging we should be able to run a foldable 130 watt panel to the aux 95 amp battery and use a simple 12V distribution system for our fridge, compressor, water pump, and charging our personal devices… obviously we won’t be using all of those at the same time but this National Luna box really makes it all so simple and easy! It’s been 14 months since I started my build… after restoring her to original condition and then some, I decided to significantly upgrade the motor and drive train as well as rebuild or replace every major mechanical system… In the process of those upgrades I also found some hidden rust and a bend in the chassis… this week, all the body work was completed and we are prepping to paint… then we will put her back together and get a custom inox snorkel and front + rear bumpers fabricated and put on 35” tires ☺️😎 can’t wait see her finished 💪🏼🚀 #totota #landcruiser #80series #1hdt #HDJ81 #overlander #vanlife #4x4 #restoration #classic
