This is my first painting on wood! (I belive it's wood?) It is very thin, which makes it slightly bend, and it Is also my biggest painting so far! This means a lot to me, each stroke had a meaning behind it, and each symbol shows words I never dared to speak, I've never been much of an emotional painter, but this painting gave me a new insight on a few things, especially myself. I already upcycled my new hat a little, but I feel like there needs to be more, anyone has any ideas?

The pose (and the trousers, I think) were taken from a photo I found, so the credits are where they should be! I saw this lady at a photo shoot at the station the other day and had to draw her. They said they were working on a BLM project against the stereotypical association with crime and hostility. The model was beautiful and confident just as she was. I admire those who try even the smallest things for a change.

I love this phenomenon I belive every artist has been through at least once: It's when one of your drawings/paintings, no matter how good you are usually, just looks significantly better than the rest
