i don’t feel like reading this, but does anyone know if the self hosted costs here are still subject to the public exemption, in that there are no fees (i think up to some number of monthly minutes) for repos that are public? still kinda sad but also entirely unsurprising imho RE:
normal hailey things https://cocoon.hailey.at/xrpc/com.atproto.sync.getBlob?did=did:plc:oisofpd7lj26yvgiivf3lxsi&cid=bafkreiegy3x76ht7ug34k7kc567xjxcefplgvnpjwsnmf2kgwhr5ah5gmu
the worst thing about seattle right now is bok a bok is still closed
so if you just clone down this repo and checkout the "hailey/clickhouse-experiment" branch, you can simply run "docker compose -f docker-compose.clickhouse.yaml -d" and start querying the firehose with osprey. there's an atproto consumer and everything in the compose. If you’re a Python, Go, or Rust dev and have an interest in open source development and/or trust and safety at any scale, you should absolutely take a look at this! All the ROOST folks and community are absolutely amazing. RE:
