watching 40+ year olds today complain about kids using ai to cheat in college classes is so funny. all i can hope is that when i’m 40 i don’t turn around and blame the kids like they do to the youth today rather than reflecting on why they might be doing what they are doing.
no, using AI to cheat in college isn't some moral sin. yes, i think kids should be doing it. if you're screaming about it being a moral sin, then think about why kids are even doing this in the first place.
RE:
kids finding new ways to cheat and get through college - you know, the thing that everyone for decades has said is so important to succeed in life (🙄) - is actually pretty based. theres also some way more important finding here than "omg ai bad" if you really think about it instead of bandwagoning

live from the algo team:
turning a big dial taht says "diaper porn" on it and constantly looking back at the audience for approval like a contestant on the price is right
the thing about the “town square” analogy as it pertains to social media is that it actually does work. it’s just that “town square” meaning “saying anything to anyone without repercussions” is ridiculous. try going up to a stranger in public and saying something weird and see what happens.
