this is the thing i think people are getting blinded by. until ai can write code that is consistently and verifiably "good code" 99% of the time (which is higher than the standards we hold ourselves to) then it's not eliminating the necessity for humans in the development process at all

yes, ai code tools are actually getting pretty good, useful, and can write some decent code
