didn't realize Hytale actually released, I remember the announcement trailer from literally 8 years ago (Minecraft went from inception to 1.0 release in 2 years lol). what's more interesting to me than the actual game, though, is how big it'll be. it seems people are increasingly reactionary and will go for Hytale not because of its own merit, but because it's not Minecraft and therefore not bad Microslop. who knows, we'll see if it sticks around.

Zeztz's 2026 episodes have been quite good so far. the show started strong, settled into a status quo that at times felt unsatisfying, but now it's kicking back up in a really neat way. we're fully leaning into the spy vs spy stuff now and it's great, the new forms and fights have been really good as well. I like Nox's official form, the alarm bell mixed in for the transformation jingle goes great with the dream theme the show is so engrossed in. good stuff.

one of my resolutions for this year was to get gud at parkour, so that's what I'm doing. right now the name of the game is balance, so finding the nearest rail to flail around on. also skipped ahead and practiced the basic roll, too, just so I can start training it into me. this'll be fun.
