I'm at the point where my actual body has fully accepted that any Western media made since the 1940s is demoralization propaganda. It's not even an issue of anime being better at this point: I actually cannot tolerate western media anymore. It makes me slightly nauseous. When restaurants play music I hate it unless they're playing lyricless bland stuff (pizza restaurant theme for example).
