Vaguely recall how much of the MAGA world insisted very loudly in Murthy v. Missouri that the WH should never, ever, in any circumstance, try to pressure a media organization over it editorial policies, and how this was a catastrophic attack on the First Amendment.

Honestly, this was also my first reaction upon seeing that video. If they had just smiled no one would have noticed/remembered. It's... almost a live Streisand Effect situation.
