I just bought "good monitors" for the first time to replace 10-year old recycled Dell displays. In the past 24 hours I've learned the importance of the appropriate cables and adapters needed in order to get the advertised capabilities out of them and why using the display port is superior to HDMI.

The Rockefeller family owned a good-sized chuck of land nearby. Part of it was a working farm and part was a retreat where they fished, went deer hunting and played golf on a private course. About a generation ago, they sold most of it to the Army. The rest is this state park.
