An eighty-year old photo of my grandmother glamming it up at Wrightsville Beach, NC. She and my grandfather lived their during WW 2, working in the nearby shipyard. My mind was blown the first time I saw this photo because it's so out of character for the Granny I knew.

Thanks on Labor Day to the men and women who fought for us that we might have freedom in the workplace: the eight hour day, safe working conditions, weekends and more. Those rights weren't given to us by the bosses - they came as a result of workers fighting and sometimes dying for them.

Wonder Woman surprised me with an emergency date to get some pho at Saigon Bistro. Our hometown is known as Fayettenam, which is rude AF, but we have good pho.

During my time in the EdTech world, I saw the norm go from chalkboards to whiteboards to interactive (Smart) boards to big screen displays with attached AppleTVs. And that one chemistry teacher still using transparencies and an overhead.

Things that are already under way
