The field owner gave me wara for free. image Wara is rice straw made after harvesting rice. Farmers use rice straw to cover the ground to keep it warm and moist. image This picture shows a raised bed for garlic. In the cold winter, the wara works like a blanket. image This is to prevent wind like as wall. In summer, rice straw is used to prevent the soil from drying out and to suppress weeds. How is it in your country? Do you use grasses or other plants from the grass family in a similar way?
