Did I tell you we added two ducks and four chicken hens to our flock this week? Brought them over on Wednesday. There was a brown egg on the ground in the new birds run this morning. Two brown eggs yesterday, four the Wednesday. No new duck eggs. I figure by next week the shock should be over and production begins, but it's getting to the part of the year when they stop.
