Fingerprint.
β’ Fingerprinting is the plague of the 21st century. The trouble is that it is practically impossible to hide from it. Almost all websites record telemetry: they need to know who their audience is. Java scripts are used not only for beautiful design, but also for performing targeted actions by an unprotected browser. And Iβm generally silent about cross-site cookies: I looked for a TV on one site and saw an advertisement for this product a minute later on another.
β’ Whether this is good or bad is a moot point. Good for business β selling has become much more convenient. Bad for people: they know everything about your needs, pain points and interests. They just don't know your name. But finding it is a matter of seconds. If you are a simple user, relax and donβt worry. Nothing bad will happen to you. But if you lead an interesting lifestyle, then you need to learn to cover your tracks. Yes, just in case.
β’ Iβll say right away that we donβt even consider pop music like Chrome, Ognelis, Opera or Yandex Browser. From a privacy standpoint, they have more holes than Swiss cheese.
β’ Can I recommend a secure browser? No I can not. Why? It simply doesn't exist. There are only conditionally safe ones that can be used, but remember: memento mori (instantly at sea).
β’ Therefore the first one is Brave. I use it only for personal matters. Because it is leaking and has not passed the community audit. And so β the browser blocks everything you need, itβs beautiful, and even pays you for viewing ads.
β’ LibreWolf β good for everyone, protected, audited. But I poked around with it and found too many connections to Mozilla, on which it is built. Well, and some more questionable connections at startup. It's a small thing, but unpleasant.
β’ The third is Mullvad . It does not block the fingerprint, like the first two, but replaces it with a standard one: all site users will look the same, or rather, the same fingerprint. It was made by the Tor and Mullvad VPN team. This is my first choice so far.
β’ It's up to you to decide what to use. But remember, there is no such thing as absolute safety!
"You are smarter than Germany π©πͺ"
You should be proud and smiling today!
From 50,000 #BTC to now holding less than 10,000 BTC.
This is one decision they are going to regret in future.
Imagine if they decide to accumulate 50K BTC in 2030.
What price they will pay then??
#Bitcoin
Remember web5?
Germany's sell-off is a classic example of how transparent #Bitcoin is.
Everyone can verify the chain in real time when the government buys, sells, and transfers.
On the other hand, how much do they print, and what do they do with printed money?
No one knows in real time!
Explain this like I'm 10:
"A trauma book I was reading had an interesting claim that indecision is often because the person looks for the approval of an internalized authority figure but is unable to predict what action they would approve of."
Imagine you have a super important decision to make, like choosing between chocolate or vanilla ice cream. Instead of just picking what you really want, you're thinking about what your mom, dad, teacher, or maybe even your favorite superhero would say is the best choice. π¦ΈββοΈ
But here's the tricky part: you're not sure what they would actually pick or approve of. So, you get stuck and can't decide because you're worried about making the wrong choice in their eyes. π€·ββοΈ
In short, it's like having an invisible judge in your brain, and you can't figure out what they want you to do. That's why sometimes making decisions becomes really hard. π
Does that make sense? π«π¦
π We encrypt the data.
β’ Encryption is the last bastion of digital freedom. All why? Because AES256 encryption is considered impossible to decrypt. There are some risks that a quantum computer can do this. But so far only Sauron has quantum computers - like Palantir . When every comrade major has quantum computers, then weβll talk. And even then, quantum encryption will appear on a quantum computer. So for every tricky nut there is a bolt with a left-hand thread.
β’ But until this happens, how to protect yourself? I recommend VeraCrypt to everyone. There are some bugs behind it, but constant patches quickly eliminate them. You can, of course, use old-school TrueCrypt (VeraCrypt is a fork of it), but it is no longer supported. There is also ZuluCrypt & PicoCrypt, so there are actually a lot of options. Choose what your heart is most drawn to.
β’ Now about the setup. VeraCrypt cannot be used as is, out of the box. You need to tick the required boxes. Be sure to set the unmount time in the parameters. If you haven't done anything with the volume for a while, it will automatically unmount. This is useful if you went to the toilet and did not unmount the disks, or, God forbid, you are lying in bracelets on a cold floor.
β’ Second, clear your password cache when you exit. Let me explain. When you have worked with the volume, have not unmounted it and closed the laptop lid, sending it to sleep, your passwords remain in the cache and, if something happens, they can be pulled out using a special tambourine and ritual dances. I think this is how the security forces βopenedβ the archive of one famous journalist. Or thermorectal cryptanalysis. You don't even need a quantum computer here.
β’ And one last thing. VeraCrypt has hot buttons. You can assign unmounting even to one button. Therefore, if Comrade Major began a sudden assault on your door using cardboard and sticks, you will have time to turn all the archives into a pumpkin.
No one can time #Bitcoin
It will do things when you expect the least.
It can easily make people look stupid who call themselves a pro!
I fear that the vast majority of humanity, including the vast majority of "truthers", freedom lovers, libertarians, conspiracy realists, etc, are blind to the danger of the concept of 5th Generation Warfare.
Social media is the battlefield and truth has been sacrificed at the altar of Technocracy, the techno-tyranny takeover of our lives. You cannot just blindly trust what you read and see online, especially from "independent media" and mainstream alternative media talking heads.
They will tell you what you want to hear, confirm your biases and fears, only to later misdirect you to make you more easily manipulated.
If you cannot grasp this you will absolutely be taken advantage of.
I make no claims of authority over deciding exactly who or what is using 5GW, but I know we are witnessing live narrative shaping around elections, "pandemics", weather events, economic calamities, and other major events. It happens during the big events, and it happens day to day.
You must cling to your critical thinking and reason. And even that can be weaponized against you.
This is why having principles matters. Because if I know, for example, that it is wrong/immoral/impractical etc to use force/fraud/violence/coercion on another human being, AND I also recognize that its wrong even if a government or govt official does it, then I will see through all BS attempts to manipulate me into accepting or justifying the use of violence. Regardless of who is doing it.
Stick to the principles of liberty, question everything, and focus on solutions.
