His prison sentence was commuted in 2022 by woke former Oregon Gov. Kate Brown. Hedquist works as a policy associate with the Antifa legal group Oregon Justice Resource Center. The far-left legal nonprofit receives funding from the state through Democrat lawmakers. It provides legal aid to violent Antifa terrorists and other people they believe can help undermine civil rights and the rule of law for a communist and/or anarchist revolution.
