A superpower paradigm, created over decades of unprecedented global inflation, prohibits America from fairly assessing its capabilities. However, as with all great powers, the superpower era for the United States will come to an end.
It is time we as a nation recognize the emergence of a new multi-polar world. We must abandon the superpower paradigm and conduct a true assessment of our means as a nation.
Our current fiscal path is unsustainable; it will constrain our foreign policy choices and force us to re-prioritize our goals. If these realities are considered, it is clear that the United States will be best served to re-instate the non-interventionist ideals of our founders.
