It's a beautiful day to be a sheep! These two trees are mulberry trees. I didn't even know mulberry trees got this big, but apparently they can. The trunks have to be about two feet in diameter.
We have one more Great Pyrenees livestock guardian puppy for sale. She is about three and a half months old, and out bonding with the sheep and chickens. Please let me know if you are interested.
Thisoldd apple tree was in the pasture when we bought the place. It gives a few apples every year. Even after pruning, it still gives a few apples every year. They do not taste very good. Probably a random seedling. But it is cool and still hangs in there. The sheep like to walk under it and scratch their backs.
I planted two longleaf pine trees today. I don't see them around here, they are more Carolinas area. But Home Depot said down to zone 7, so I'll see if they survive. Does anyone have any experience with longleaf pine in Pennsylvania?
