Every time I log into Threads it’s somehow gotten worse. Im at the point where i can’t tell if the leadership are completely useless or extremely talented. If the goal was to create a usable and fun social media platform, they’re doing a worse job than Elon. But if the goal was to create a rage bait driven click farm that drives share prices growth, they’ve knocked it out of the park.

I'd also be up 170% on my investment if I had bought SMIC when I wanted to, but I decided against it because they got put on the OFAC sanctions list. I think technically I'm allowed to violate OFAC sanctions because I'm not legally considered a "US Persons", but given that I'm trying to become one, it'd probably not be a good look if I go to my immigration interview and they ask me why half of my stock portfolio consists of US sanctioned companies.

I bought a HTML template for a site I'm making. Typically I just pull the compiled html files out and make a standalone project which I maintain in a text editor. But, this time I figured it's time to learn modern web development so I tried using the toolchain it came with. The toolchain consists of 3,446 dependencies, runs 15 processes, and uses 3 GB of ram. Unfortunately I can't run for president, but if I could I would run on the platform of making Node.js illegal.

Some of these science videos I see on TikTok are so absurd I'm convinced I'm being trolled. There was one where they were putting a bunch of bees into tiny chairs in a miniature classroom. Then they placed explosives in front of the class and only fed the bees which attempted to investigate the explosives. As a result the bees became conditioned to instinctively stick out their tongues expecting food whenever they detected the scent of explosives. So they built a handheld explosive scanner where the cartridges are literally just rows of bees in tiny chairs and a computer vision algorithm which monitors how many bees stick out their tongues at any one time. I though this has to be an elaborate prank, but according to Google, this is actually a real device that someone made.

His response was to take my post & data, deliberately crop out my name to remove credit, then spread it all around Twitter to justify his overhyped exploit.
