not sure this makes sense but it tickled my brain, yall should read it RE:
uhhh has anyone tried compiling React to C yet RE:
somehow bsky web interface doesn't report this post (which is at the top of my For You feed) as "seen" so it is stuck at the top of my For You feed RE:
[@spacecowboy17.bsky.social]( ) noticed one weird pattern where QT dunks on the same post dominate the timeline, curious if you have thoughts on this. it can be fun in moderation but it’s a bit much sometimes
[@thdxr.com]( ) not sure which client / script you’re using but you should ideally pass aspectRatio for images so that they don’t show up as squares
there’s a type of person (mostly found on reddit but also on HN) that will complain about any expected leap on the reader side they’ll write paragraphs but can’t be bothered to take a guess, or to explore something for a minute everything must be pre-chewed for them in the initial paint https://morel.us-east.host.bsky.network/xrpc/com.atproto.sync.getBlob?did=did:plc:fpruhuo22xkm5o7ttr2ktxdo&cid=bafkreifnl2sujtw323t3mu7qrsb3noenycvrjwjbrhfzqikalvuh3pvhoq
hilarious discussion [news.ycombinator.com/item?id=4639...]( )
[@spacecowboy17.bsky.social]( ) do you give less weight to likes on replies to self? i realize i often do “courtesy likes” but usually wouldn’t want them to be taken into account for weighing — or at least not to same extent as top level likes
i actually don’t get this attitude. even if there’s a winning wiring of smarts and duct tape, clearly it’ll take a few months for someone to package it up in a product. then competition will sort it out, then open source will copy it half-badly, then it will git good. why bother w/ middle steps? yea i was hoping bsky app will at least explore taking a break from “four photos” twitter layout RE: View quoted note →
