anyone using webstorm? what's good/bad about it?
found a bit surprising to hear some people consider applying to both startups and big companies at the same time a red flag. imo if you already have a range of experience and have seen both, it’s totally fine to be open to both kind of setups (and even more exotic ones)
[@ives.sh]( ) looks like something's up with sandpack resolution (?), the sandboxes on the site broke again but they work on codesandbox. one of the versions is resolving to a stale one example: [react.dev/reference/re...]( ) https://morel.us-east.host.bsky.network/xrpc/com.atproto.sync.getBlob?did=did:plc:fpruhuo22xkm5o7ttr2ktxdo&cid=bafkreidux6ebuxuxeekrcgw6rlhvcobultn2jz22jtsllam2wyp4do6vtq
this page has gotten much better recently, excited to dig into these patterns now that they're well-explained [Getting Started: Cache Compone...]( )
i think there’s exceptions to this but they’re very rare, like react betting on commonjs very early (and even then it was alternatively consumable via umd for a loooong time). you want to be butter smooth with existing ecosystem *and* as a bonus, can unlock more with emerging tech RE:
feeling a bit "done" with claude code, just tired of it constantly trying to half-ass things. gonna give codex a try?
this is a very pretty photo but it would make a lot more sense if the person was actually falling into the sun RE:
okay server stuff now automatically showing up in Performance tab (via RSC debug channel) is actually pretty goated https://morel.us-east.host.bsky.network/xrpc/com.atproto.sync.getBlob?did=did:plc:fpruhuo22xkm5o7ttr2ktxdo&cid=bafkreiavf7hhesngnvb7m5kcj737s7loqtymwzlaqrelxvhsbqqpholzxy
maybe worth saying explicitly β€” i’m open to working on react again (react docs, or engineering work) if your company wants to sponsor me doing that work remotely from japan. meta definitely can’t (i’ve asked). at least one company comes to mind that can, but maybe there are others?
need this for react RE:
