i sometimes like to think of atproto as "the anything web" (as an alternative to the mindset of fighting to be "the everything app")
you have some similarities (integrated experience, content bleeding between apps) but there's no hubris of deciding everything for everyone. let people figure it out
a part of this is also about showing alternative indexes of the same product, with new modalities. not just the data you can get from pds (which feels a bit plain) and not just the data you can get from bluesky appview (which the official client shows already), but augmented or regrouped
