i'm kind of late to this realization but Astro is very similar to XHP. i think XHP was kind of collectively ignored (partially due to sparse documentation and partially due to unpopularity of Hack). but Astro's model feels very similar (maybe more powerful?)

oh man. i should totally integrate bluesky threads into my blog. that shouldn’t be difficult to pull from the api. i can kind of just present them as alternative “posts”. and fetch designated ones during the build. hmm
