i tried to learn ruby from why's guide and i couldn't get through the first few chapters. still not sure if the guide was good. i think i'm glad it existed but maybe i'd stop at that

i love this effect when you post an article on reddit and people think you’re full of shit so the comments are negative but then there’s a critical mass of positive comment that flip the consensus and suddenly the comments are positive. wtf
