“thinking in react” vibes RE:
i’m learning that the key with android is to change the workflow from working on an entire feature (“make it work”, “make it right”, “make it fast”) to working on a small subset of the implementation. make a tiny necessary slice of it work/right/fast, *then* do this for the next slice, etc.
keep thinking “i thought we already fixed this” then realizing im on the prod version and we haven’t done a web deploy yet
if atproto gets really big, i wonder what meta’s existential take on it will be. like would they go out of their way to try to make it not happen, or would they embrace it at some point and build stuff around

does the golden gate bridge still make that sound?
fun fact, the like animation i hastily put in during the Brazil wave was largely inspired (i.e. i looked at the css) by the one in the inline examples on the [react.dev]( ) homepage which was made by @lebo.co (he’s not on bsky but maybe someday :)
[@zed.dev]( ) is so beautiful, a vibe https://morel.us-east.host.bsky.network/xrpc/com.atproto.sync.getBlob?did=did:plc:fpruhuo22xkm5o7ttr2ktxdo&cid=bafkreihkjn7ihig6zgbgyser4oqbx5ela3jyoa2ckfbolzaq2e7fzqgeo4
ok looks like we pinned down the cause of camera images getting stretched on Android, exif tags strike again [Fix openCamera reported dimens...]( )
had no idea this is happening but makes total sense RE:
