i bitch about it a lot but React Native is awesome. if you’re a native engineer you might feel skeptical, but it isn’t a lowest common denominator crossplatform abstraction. rather, i like to think of it as a scripting orchestration layer for platform views (which you can still write). like in games

i know everyone’s tired of talking meta level but i’m really happy that i finally was able to cut over to posting just here. twitter felt pretty addictive even this spring and summer. but as our app got less wonky and we added features like quotes, it reached the good enough level for me personally
honestly i envy the confidence of meta notification emails. im still getting emails from a few cross-company Workplace groups and the subject is literally “Dan, respond to your 11 group updates” RE:
