there’s been a lot of feedback on the previous Following reply proposal that filtering by whether you follow the thread author would hide too many fun conversations. i wonder how y’all feel about this variation — replies appear in Following when you follow at least one person in reply’s context RE:
in the next release, we’re planning some changes to the way replies show up in the Following feed. here’s a sneak peek with a few before/after examples for this change. “before” is on the left: replies appear out of context “after” is on the right: replies appear within their thread https://morel.us-east.host.bsky.network/xrpc/com.atproto.sync.getBlob?did=did:plc:fpruhuo22xkm5o7ttr2ktxdo&cid=bafkreih6khihy4sbh6vofalkkotzzfscikogsvptc4ljhanxnt52t5hyz4 https://morel.us-east.host.bsky.network/xrpc/com.atproto.sync.getBlob?did=did:plc:fpruhuo22xkm5o7ttr2ktxdo&cid=bafkreiaosjfxgyeuf7dztxuirn2xh2jczjzsdmfyicnwb7impyuscopasy

i personally love “web3 done right” as a tongue-in-cheek framing for atproto but this would likely alienate both sides RE: View quoted note →
