I’ve got two Pure Malt pens. One’s Natural color. Thin, lightweight. The other’s Dark Brown. Thick, with a good grip. I found them one fall day after coffee with a friend in Osaka. Roaming a stationery shop, the air crisp with fallen leaves. The ink flows smooth. Each stroke feels right. Good tools matter. They motivate. These pens inspire me to write, but they’re not the end all. The desire to create comes from within. It’s the spark that ignites the page. In the end, it’s about the journey, not just the tools.
