Perfection lies. Ideas kept hostage. Progress held back. And for what? An unrealistic ideal. Whose ideal? Yours? Theirs? No one knows what will work or what will be a success. How can an idea succeed if it doesn’t exist? Perfection falsifies beginnings. Just start. Embrace the sloppiness. Enter the unknown. Let go. Don’t think. Do. An idea realized—if even done poorly—is a success.

I write because I must. It's what I do. It's my nature. Will it make an audience? I don't know. Will it make money? No idea. I just write. It's all I know how to do.

Freedom and privacy. Hand and glove. They fit together. Freedom from coercion. From violence. From extortion. Privacy grants that. Privacy is consent. You share what you want. When you want. How you want. You've agreed to share, freely. Of you're own will. If privacy disappears, freedom's not far behind. Imagine. Everyone, observed. Monitored. Scrutinized. Look to now. Mainstream social media. Eyes on everyone. All the time. Cancel culture curbs behavior. Every word, measured. Every decision, compromised. Coercion in our actions. When it's gone, is there a way back?

Art's a mirror. It imitates life. Story's an artform. It's how we learn. Learn about life. About being. It's reflects us. Who we are. What we want to become. I get inspired talking to friends. Scrolling feeds. People watching. I ask a question. Explore it through story. It shows me something. The good, the bad, and the ugly. Don't look away. Reflect. Write. Show, don't tell.
