I don't believe in a literal hell but I'm prepared to make an exception for Sam Altman. No other individual has ever caused so much damage to humanity's long-term prospects.

Whenever somebody says "that's fascism" and somebody replies with "no that's just violent, racist and bigoted conservatism" I wonder if, when they see a red traffic light, they keep on going because that is, in fact, more of a crimson or possibly even carnelian.

There are greedy people, and I don't like them very much. But people who aren't greedy, per se, but who will nonetheless always be the last to offer to pay for something, always be ready to point out that they drank half a glass less than the others, always wait to see if I cave and say ok, I'll settle this then we'll see. These people. These people, they make life just that little shittier, for absolutely fucking nothing.

In the vast cosmos of things that piss me off about my father dying, having to mediate between my sister (who wants a very serious, much professor picture in the obit, and the rest of the family (who would like a smiling, goofing around one) is definitely in the top galaxy.

It turns out "my" shirt design was stolen and used by some US assholes who now sell a Rob Anybody t-shirt. I can't do anything about that, except giving everybody the design for free - if it has to be out there, nobody should profit from it. This goshawk (?) was completely frozen in place - she had just killed what seems to be a crow, and the other crow on the fence was making a call i never ever heard (kinda like a cat looking at a bird, iykwim) and there were a couple other crows circling around. I found it a very sad demonstration that life is a bit shit for everyone involved.

Tomorrow's my first day at the new job and looks like all my bosses identify as women, which I guess would be good when you have femdom fantasies but it's absolutely great when you have equality ones.

Mio padre è in condizioni disastrose, abbandonato a sé stesso e alle piaghe da decubito, senza essere lavato e curato in modo adeguato da nessuno dei miei parenti che vivono vicino a lui. Come faccio per farlo andare a prendere subito da qualcuno che lo porti in una struttura? Perché, stante la situazione, non credo che durerà più di una settimana o due e vorrei, almeno, fargliele passare in un letto pulito.
