Prelude - Beers Of The Beano - Saturday 12 July 2025 A lie in and it’s already steaming hot. A day for cold beer and aircon. PM in The Project Caerphilly where maybe I’ll have a crisp Lager to start. Head full of The Foundation and Murderbot.

Cali Pale - Tiny Rebel - 4.6% ABV. B+ and a bit and a touch. Soft, hoppy and fruity start. Fruity body with a lingering gentle bitter finish #ale #beer #bier 3.4/5. The 31c Heatwave Saturday and the Brits don't do heat or any weather for that matter. Tiny Taffy refreshment helps.

Killer Kiwi - Beer Riff - 5.2% ABV. B++, gently fruity on the nose. Big and hoppy, wine, spicy with a sharp, bitter finish #ale #beer #bier 3.5/5. All New Zealand from Swansea and it’s all rather good. Southern Hemisphere hops and an overcast South Wales Valley town.

Weissbier - Augustiner - 5.4% ABV. B++, drinking Münich Wheat. Sharp, malty, wheat, bubblegum with a sharp bitter finish #ale #beer #bier 3.5/5. Sometimes you need a quality German brew 🇩🇪 Really looking forward to Oktoberfest 2025. Especially the Lidl Beer Pack.
