lol incredible stuff
Hurry up.
Holy moly, 15% on a platform that gets free and easy OS updates is pretty rough.
Fun fact: if you tell Gemini a bit about your software setup and ask it for advice on de-Googling, it will happily (and pretty accurately) assist you. image
I've had a TrimUI Brick for some time but haven't used it very much. I decided to swap my Retroid Pocket Classic for the Brick in my small tech bag just because it's smaller and lighter. And so I started looking into the latest firmware updates for the device and all of that, which brought me to a Reddit thread about the latest release. As it turns out, not only did someone find SSH credentials to root into the Brick, but they also discovered that it runs Tina Linux, which (as far as I can see) is based on OpenWRT. The TrimUI brick is basically a router that plays Game Boy games. Technically gaming on Linux. #Linux #Gaming
So, this is interesting. I just received another one of those "your cloud is expiring" spam emails. These are the only spam messages that I receive now, and I have no idea where they come from. They're being sent to my old Gmail address. But look at the date! This just came in ~5 minutes ago, but my mail clients (in this case Proton Mail on the web) see it as dated April 6, 2010. I don't think I've ever seen that before. image
