Shark Bake (t)
Beginning in 1814, the boys at the Presidio would come down to the beach and catch sharks. They would then have a huge shark bake in honor of whoever was left standing. In 1823, the Presidio Commander, Kismyas Rucker, put a stop to the shark bakes.
