I very much appreciate all the Aurora pics in both hemispheres. My mom was a schoolteacher when we lived in the northern tier. She was too busy to be able to stop and admire the Northern Lights, and they will never be visible to the naked eye way down here in the South. Even though I've already had Shingles twice, I just scheduled my Shingles vaccine (first of two shots) for later this month. Will the side effects be terrible? Yes. Will it also confer the only known (partial) protection against Alzheimer's? Also yes. Apparently, the protection is even greater if you also get the RSV vaccine, which is not an annual vaccine. I had that jab previously.
