as someone who actually likes and uses Windows (I know, the tiny minority on here among the Linux stans), reading the things upper-level Microsoft folks are saying has been a constant source of psychic damage these past couple of years. it's like waking up to find a text message that says "hey, you know that dog walker you hired? he's saying he's replacing your dog with a 'better' one."
