The weather finally behaved enough and I got a half hour in the pool yesterday and 45 minutes today along with a number of dives off the springboard. 11pm is feeling like my 3am as a result I think.

I got the pet sling bag and I don’t understand how getting this cat in the bag wasn’t a fight. There’s been purring even. 🐈‍⬛ There’s no sliding off my lap and he might go to sleep in a minute. I was able to get a snack and wash my hands. This is confusing to me.

Also a note that I'm seeing a number of phishing / fake "Docusign" emails this week. It looks like people's computers are compromised and not even people I've ever been in contact with which is what makes this one a little weirder.

The cat has not asked to go outside today and instead a few times has just taken a flying leap into my lap while I'm at the computer. Clearly he feels better given the height of the leaps. Lacks the subtlety you might expect from an elder cat. XL kitten vibes. I am also currently cat trapped. 🐈‍⬛

For those who live in a low tech world, your systems to get everyone on zoom at the right time can still somehow fail if you're in different time zones. My 10am is now an 11am and I should have fixed coffee when I realized that had happened (confirmed by client via email.) Mmmm I still have time?

Cat is doing better but still clearly a bit off so I didn’t want to let him do his normal outdoor cat things but he was complaining that the house was too 🥶. So this morning I held him & worked awkwardly. This afternoon I made him a mini blanket fort (beach towel on a chair) to keep the ac off. 🙌
