Just got a text alert from one of the counties I’ve signed up for emergency alert texts from: “NOAA Weather Radio Transmitters will be down due to a system upgrade until Wednesday…” We have high odds of tornado weather tomorrow (starting around 3am last I checked.) 🫠

FYI - I’m a little quiet again because a bug of some sort bit my arm on Friday and made my left arm super inflamed and painful. I have a proper elbow again today and I may try and go swim but I’m exhausted. Anyone have a topical /antihistamine they love? 😂 I think I need to stock more than one.

I DO wish that audiobooks that aren’t even going to attempt to describe their charts & graphs would be upfront about that. Sample chapter / preface and description should be blunt: “This audiobook requires the ebook for charts & graphs. They are not described in detail & there are 25.”

Random: I have read ~20 books this year so far. Last few year(s) = ~zero Biggest change: I created an actual spreadsheet of books I wanted to read, listen to or buy & started. The ebooks from the library give me hard deadlines on returns (I try not to renew) & I'm listening to some as audiobooks.
