Earlier today I wrote a poem:
Freedom doesn’t whisper.
It doesn’t say a thing.
Freedom doesn’t shout.
What freedom does is: RING. 🔔
If you have a bell nearby, give it a ring today. It upsets the demons among us.
On the platforms with baked-in algorithms, I avoid naming two countries: IS and RU. The naming of these two places brings out the robot-buddies, and they are decidedly unpleasant but in two different ways.
Saying one name brings out bots who will threaten and bully me in a way that is pro-that-country. Saying the other name brings out bots who threaten and bully me in a way that is anti-that-country. 🤔 It’s definitely a Venn diagram because there is overlap in the types of things they say - like they love telling me I deserve to be assaulted for expressing anti-one or pro-the-other sentiment.
Anyway, I’ll let you connect the dots as to which is which in this narrative. KYHOAS
GM 😎 you’ve heard of algo-speak? Where people on the highly censored platforms use words like “unalive” instead of “dead” so as not to get demoted from the feed?
Well, I’ve determined the phrase “stop whispering!” is algo-speak for: “please block me!” So your wish is my command, folks who don’t know how to work your volume up button! 😆
