fr though we've been trying to nail topic classification for almost 9 months now. I am overjoyed that it finally works.
We launched some updates to the Discover feed today. This likely won't affect existing users as much, but for new users it's a big improvement. Basically: the ML team managed to build an improved topic classifier, which means Discover is better at responding to selected interests.

Algorithmic Choice! This "For You" feed by [@spacecowboy17.bsky.social]( ) is what it's all about. You don't have to use Discover. Other people can make great algorithms. RE:
