According to the US Travel Association, total inbound international visits to the US are projected to fall by approximately 6.3 % compared to 2024. Visits from Canada alone are down 24 %.
And these numbers are in a year where tourism was partly saved by the fact that travelers had already booked their trips before Trump returned. 2026 could turn out even worse.

I am really tired of listening to Marco Rubio praising Trump for getting Europe to spend 5 percent of GDP on defence.
No country is spending more on defence to please Trump. We are spending more, because we are alone in the war with Putin. We are spending more, so we can lead the world, now that Trump has put the US in the back seat.
We could have finished Putin together, and the world would have been safer and wealthier. But instead Trump wanted a war with Venezuela. That is how dumb this is.
