Ian Bremmer did the numbers, and this graph shows how much the US and Europe supports Ukraine. In 2025, European countries will contribute close to 50 billion euro. The US will contribute less than 1 percent of that, and it would likely have been $0 if Trump had been able to stop the January deliveries which Biden had secured. The great American people is led by a coward. image
Hell no Donald Duck! In response to Trump's capitulation demands, Prime Minister Ulf Kristerson of Sweden says, he has talked to the Nordic and the Baltic countries who agree, we will keep supporting Ukraine to ensure a fair and sustainable peace. Former Minister of Justice Søren Pind of Denmark comments: "The Nordic countries alone have an economy like Russia. If the US wants to let us down, let it fall to the country which used to have courage and will power to now be a country of cowards. image
I have loved following the amazing photography of @Catherine Babault. So yesterday when I saw this generated image (pic 1) of how her awesome photo of A BEAR could look as a poster, I got worried that she would get in trouble for not adhering to the server rules by disclosing that THE ROOM was generated. So I messaged her (pic 2). To my surprise, Cathrine then blocked me — maybe she thought I was accusing THE BEAR of being generated. I really wish she knew, I was talking about THE ROOM.
Trump has now set a deadline for Thursday next week, where he demands Ukraine signs an angreement to meet Putin’s demands: — No NATO membership — A reduction of its military to just 600,000 troops — Accepting the loss of Donetsk, Luhansk, Crimea, and most of Kherson and Zaporizhzhia — Forcing Ukrainian elections within 100 days While Russia will — Reenter the G8 — Have all sanctions lifted This is not a peace agreement. This is capitulation. image
If a pyromaniac wanted to burn down your house and you were fighting back, Marco Rubio would suggests you instead let him burn down half your house as a compromise. #BothSides image
Always looking for a hiking trip, today I read about our local forest called Polakkerskoven (Forest of the Polish people). But why that name? Legend has it, during the Danish-Swedish War of 1658, a group of Polish mercenaries camped in this forest. When they were defeated, 23 of their skulls were cut open and mortared into the outer wall of our church. At first I thought that was just a good story. Then I looked up the pictures, and sure enough… Let us hope Trump does not attack Greenland.
In a response to Democratic politicians urging US military personnel to to disobey unlawful orders from the US administration, Trump now writes on Truth Social that their seditious behavior is punishable by death. Watching this US administration is like watching hostage takers in a bank who keep escalating their demands, on and on… until they finally leave the scene in chains. We all know where this ends: Vote in 2026. image
This is the wildest political article I have read in 2025: While Trump and his advisor Steve Bannon claim that the Epstein files are all about guilty Democrats, e-mails reveal that Bannon was working with Jeffrey Epstein to ensure crypto party donations without federal oversight. In exchange, Bannon was casting himself as being all for a movement against sexual predators, while promising Epstein that he would be able to delay the rise of that movement by 10+ years.
Breaking: Trump has signed the bill to release the Epstein files.
The judge discovers major procedural error by Trump's prosecutor in the Comey case, which means the case might be dismissed. I cannot wait.
